Our history

In 2000, a small group of passionate dragon boaters came together with a shared vision: to create a community centered around the thrill of the sport. With dedication and hard work, they laid the foundation for what would become a vibrant and competitive club.

Over the years, their efforts paid off as the club flourished, growing to over 130 members today. This remarkable journey is a testament to the commitment of those early pioneers and the welcoming spirit that continues to attract new paddlers. 

The club now boasts a diverse group of athletes, each contributing their unique strengths and backgrounds, united by a love for dragon boating. Together, they train rigorously, participate in competitions, and forge lasting friendships, embodying the essence of teamwork and camaraderie. 

As they look to the future, the club remains dedicated to fostering a supportive environment where paddlers can thrive, push their limits, and celebrate both individual and collective achievements.

The club is also proud to have a vibrant Dragons Abreast (DA) team, which has been an integral part of the club from the very beginning.
