Newcastle Dragon Boat Club
The Newcastle Dragon Boat Club is based in Carrington. It has grown rapidly since its beginnings in 2000, which evolved from a small number of dedicated people with a commitment and vision to dragon boating at a competitive level as well as a social and fitness component for those paddlers who are not at a competitive level. It is now recognised as one of the premier regional clubs in NSW.

Over the short life of the Club, a number of our members have qualified as State and Australian representatives competing at the National Titles in QLD, SA, WA, VIC and ACT; the Asian Championships and at World Championship events. It is the clubs aim to compete annually as a Club at the Australian Championships.
